The Role & Environment
You will become a valued and trusted member of the Midwife family and with the support and collaboration of the team you will work closely with everyone to ensure the most holistic levels of care can be delivered to parents for their newborns.
You will need to have a passion for postnatal care.
As we transition into this new focus we are looking for someone who has a passion for this area of expertise. In addition to this someone with a comprehensive knowledge of breastfeeding or a lactation specialist would be highly desirable.
You'll maintain a high standard of patient care in line with legislative and professional requirements, continuously develop professionally, and collaborate with the team on quality initiatives.
Located in the heart of Auckland City, the facility is designed to provide a warm environment for everyone, which will only be enhanced with the upcoming refurbishment planned for 2025.

What we are searching for
Clinical requirements - Registration or imminent registration with the Midwifery Council of New Zealand
- Holds a current annual practising certificate
- Strong capacity to communicate in english (written and verbal)
Personality - A passion for postnatal care, understanding the value and importance of this
- Warmth with an engaging manner
- Maintain a high level of professionalism
- Ability to manage the shift patterns
- Enjoy working both autonomously as well as, as part of a team
- Aware of the cultural differences which make New Zealand so special
