About the Company
This New Zealand owned organisation has grown to be a progressive national integrated health provider supported by a diverse team of health professionals. This organisation provides excellent multidisciplinary injury management, vocational, community and musculoskeletal rehabilitation services.

They have clinics across the country and hold contracts with ACC, third party insurers, DHB’s, The Ministry of Health, private businesses and leading New Zealand organisations.

About the role

You will be working in a clinic where no two days are the same and alongside supportive team members. The role also involves musculoskeletal MSK or could be further trained in this area depending on your experience, orthopaedic, pain, your specialisations if applicable and rehabilitation work out of one of two locations.

You will work alongside other physiotherapists, occupational therapists and well being health professionals. Post-graduate qualifications are preferred but not essential. This is a great opportunity to work in a challenging and professional environment. This individual will be motivated to deliver a high quality service to our clients.

Skills and experience

  • The ideal candidate will have an interest in musculoskeletal and/or sports physiotherapy and pain based rehabilitation
  • Strong work ethic, effective communication, empathetic and a commitment to building relationships with patients
  • People centric, ensuring the best for clients and colleagues
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Appropriate qualification, a NZ Physiotherapy Board registration and a current drivers license
Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and treatment of mechanical neck and back pain
  • Assessment and treatment of a variety of peripheral musculoskeletal and sports related conditions
  • Pain and gym based functional rehabilitation and possibly some voc rehab work
  • Specialist spine assessment and rehabilitation role - TBC
