They have clinics across the country and hold contracts with ACC, third party insurers, DHB’s, The Ministry of Health, private businesses and leading New Zealand organisations.

About the Role

This is a newly created role within the Hamilton team. This is ideal for a physiotherapist that is looking at working autonomously servicing the Waikato community with some travel to Bay of Plenty (BOP). This physiotherapist will be comfortable travelling as a community physiotherapist. This role will report through to the Regional Manager.

We are looking for a full time physiotherapist that will work with and support clients to ensure they get the right help when they need it. The organisation's goal is to enable New Zealanders to live better lives.

You will be responsible for social rehabilitation needs assessments (SRNA) and Training for Independence however this can change as the service grows. You will also have limited set hours in two local aged care facilities.

Skills and experience
  • Requires autonomy, therefore you will need at least 2 years experience
  • Training for independence and SRNA experience is ideal
  • Effective communication, empathetic and a commitment to building relationships with patients
  • People centric, ensuring the best for clients and colleagues
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Appropriate qualification, a NZ Physiotherapy Board registration and a current drivers license
