Human Resources Administrator | Auckland_NewZealand

  • Exceptionally well respected senior leadership team
  • High profile home and hospital on exquisite grounds
  • Strong framework of systems and operations with clear strategies

Nestled into one of Auckland's most desirable central suburbs is a respected and highly sought after home and hospital / not for profit establishment

You really do need to see this place.  Visually you feel like you are entering a beautifully manicured suburban estate and inside you find warmth and comfort.  Much like entering a good friends home.

For the most part residents are elderly folks who are rich with experience and life who want the loving touch, care and understanding.  They seek companionship, fun and as much laughter possible plus seek to stay and maybe even contribute to their community.

To successfully operate a home and hospital you need professional and passionate leaders.  People who want to be in a progressive and inclusive environment and who also want to work in a community setting.  This organisation is a not for profit / NGO establishment with strong ties to a variety of stakeholders. Operating with a high staffing compliment including clinical, non clinical, management, executive and operations right through to ground staff and even pet care.

We are seeking a Human Resources (HR) Administrator to come on board, join the team and contribute through a range of skills and responsibilities.

Such as

  • HR administration and implementation of best practice HR processes
  • Support the recruitment process of line managers - references, qualifications and background check
  • Maintain an up to date database of personnel files
  • Stewardship of the recruitment and retention model
  • Provide HR support for clinical staff, senior managers and line managers
  • Some Health and Safety
  • HR administration and support of the diversity and cultural standards of the organisation

There are a few things we need from you, such as:

  • Practical HR experience and familiarity with information systems
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and application
  • You understand the importance of collaboration with others internally and externally
  • Ideally have worked in the not for profit or social services sectors or the wider health sector
  • An HR qualification
  • Some experience with Unions would be great
  • Empathy and community minded
  • Professional in your dealings with all people and pride in your presentation

Working with this organisation in the past, I have found that no leaves unimpressed.  The leadership team are very well respected, the organisation has a great reputation and they are trailblazers in aged care with many modern philosophies and practices.

This is a great place to build on your HR career and we would like to speak with you.

In the first instance, apply online with a cover letter outlining a bit about your experience in line with the above points and resume.  Or call Brad Stewart on 0277839278 - but move fast as we are ready to hire asap.
