Registered Nurse | Auckland_NewZealand

  • South Auckland location
  • Strong support from medical team and leadership team
  • Beautiful environment and culture

Large well run and well established facility in the deep south of Auckland. So many perks to make the effort to get a bit further out of your way.

I shall start with the “must haves” as to quite honestly, just get them out of the way.  Before you say “I know what you’re going to ask for”... hear me out.
  • Bachelor of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Willingness to learn and grow within the Aged Care sector but open to any area of expertise
  • Part time or full time opportunities
  • Personality plus!
Today I took a guided tour around a lovely facility in South Auckland. The facility is beautiful. The people the residents, the grounds… the dogs and cats and the ambiance of the establishment.  If you are open to a conversation… I could talk all day about the look and feel of this place. I met the residents and administration and all seemed as good as one could hope for.

Something of note is their advanced use of sector technology which will save you time and resources and assist with accuracy of hand over and medications and reporting etc.  Seems to be state of the art and above and beyond the “others”.

We offer
  • Fortnightly rosters with every second weekend off
  • Strong and experienced clinical team for support and R&D
  • Commitment to your learning, training and development (they go well overboard here)
  • Off site courses and assessments
  • The very best in industry specific learning and formal qualifications and career pathway development
  • Low resident support numbers as to not stretch your time and resource thin
Scope of duties may include
  • Contribute to nursing assessments and patient care planning
  • Provide nursing care and evaluate the outcomes of care for patients and their families
  • Coordinate teams of health care assistants (in some settings) under the supervision of a registered nurse
  • Undertake other nursing responsibilities (eg, monitoring change to patient conditions, administering medicines, health education, wound management and assisting patients with daily activities).

These folks have unusually low turnover of staff plus strong and committed leadership and high level of development opportunities.  The location is great and is a large facility, accessible to Central, South and even the Waikato. Right on the trainline!

If you are wanting a safe, clean and stable environment where you are valued and looked after including annual pay reviews and all of the support around you professional certification and development.  Than I urge you to speak with me today.
