New Zealand's Healthcare industry is going through revolutionary change right now and this brand new role will bring you to the forefront of this, helping the ease of change for your team of 22 registered nurses across three regions. 

If you have experience in change management and feel you have a natural ability to influence and guide teams then this role would suit you to the ground.

Your average day would see you
  • Provide management and clinical guidance across your three regions 
  • Deliver equity of care protocols
  • Grow and nurture Partnerships with other Healthcare organisations such as ADHB and ACC
  • Ensure your team is consistently managing and caring for those in your regions 
  • Support and develop both Registered Nurses and Health Care Assistants 
  • Registered Nurse qualification and current Annual Practicing Certificate (APC)
  • Experience and knowledge of the community health sector
  • Experience in providing direction and delegation of care to others within defined policies and procedures
  • Excellent clinical assessment skills with a knowledge of the interRAI suite of assessment tools and the clinical application of casemix
  • Experience in leading and mentoring a clinical team.
  • Ability to work with a non-regulated workforce and with autonomy within the community
  • Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and ability to work in partnership with clients and their family/whanau
  • Passion and expertise working collaboratively in a team and developing your skills and those of your colleagues
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and influencing skills, and highly developed emotional intelligence
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with the resilience and ability to cope with the unexpected or difficult
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Sound judgement and integrity
  • Competent computer skills
This position would see you join an experienced Community Leadership team of Nurses who are passionate and committed to enhancing the lives of both their teammates and patients alike.
