They have a very strong clinical governance framework around their nursing workforce which is nurse led and clinically driven. 
  • You will be an integral member of the MDT with particular focus on meeting service delivery needs of clients with complex health and support needs
  • Provide specialist nursing care and expertise to team members managing complex clients - you will lead, mentor, guide, preceptor and be a valued source of knowledge.
  • Expect to use your advanced assessment, planning and problem skills daily, along with critical thinking to manage and find solutions to problems.
  • There will be the potential to carry a small and select case load yourself. 
  • This position can be located in Christchurch or Dunedin. There is an element of travel, however Covid has taught us that lots can be done virtually.
  • An RN with current APC and relevant post graduate qualification
  • Experience working in the community - ideally exposed to complex health conditions across the lifespan, and holistic case management
  • Advanced clinical assessment skills including knowledge of InterRAI 
  • Flexible, pragmatic and commonsense approach to problem solving - you immediately see solutions 
  • A passion and expertise for working collaboratively and in partnership with the MDT team, clients and other external and internal stakeholders
