ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Our client works with young people, their families and those supporting young people. This fantastic organisation is made up of volunteer and paid staff members within centres based across the New Zealand. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We are looking for amazing people who have a wealth experience as a Mental Health Nurse as well as those with in-depth first hand experience in the Mental Health sector.
To ensure you are the perfect fit, you will be: + A Registered Nurse with a Mental Health post grad
+ An experienced leader/senior RN

+ Confident managing multiple conversations and assessments at a time
+ Capable of identifying and prioritizing risk
+ Able to make fast and effective clinical decisions

ABOUT THE ROLEWe are seeking Rock Stars who have robust experience in managing risk assessments, safety planning, interventions, these experiences are all highly desirable to this role and will certainly make you stand out from the crowd.
Your duties will include
+Holding the escalation point for clinical decision making
+Drive & write best practice policy and procedure for the team
+Provide training to staff on procedure
+Provide on-call support for entire organisation as required
+Availability on weekends and evenings for trainings/orientations
+Potential for media appearances
+Collaborate with multiple other managers/team leaders to provide Helpline service
+Foster links with other mental health services
+Speak at universities as part of volunteer recruitment drive
+Will be leading review of clinical policy, training materials, best practice papers
+Will be holding direct line management for approx. 10 staff, and leading review of practise and training/support for an additional 14 directly.
