Clinic Physiotherapist | Manawatu-Whanganui_NewZealand

  • Fully New Zealand owned integrated health provider with a focus on outcomes
  • Purpose built rehab centre collocated with specialist services
  • Collaborative and supportive culture. Base, bonus and prof dvpt

With the newly designed escalated care pathway contract with ACC underway, referrals are up and we need an outcome focussed MSK to join the team.

About the organisation

This is one of the largest and fully New Zealand owned integrated health providers in the country. They have clinics across the country and provide excellent multidisciplinary injury management, vocational, community and musculoskeletal rehabilitation services.

This organisation is innovative with an incredibly collaborative and supportive culture. They are on the verge of exciting growth due to having recently acquired the newly designed escalated care pathway contract with ACC.

About the role

Due to growth, we are looking for talented and clinically strong MSK physiotherapists to work out of the Palmerston North rehab centre. The newly acquired contract challenges the siloed approach to traditional case management and clinical pathways. Less reporting and more collaborative outcomes focussed rehab will see you focus on a case mix of physiotherapy clinical work and physical gym rehabilitation. With a focus on quality, not quantity, you’ll be joining teams who are motivated by outcomes, not how many appointments you can squeeze into a day.

Skills and experience
To win this role you will ideally have at least 2-3 years of solid clinical experience under your belt. In addition you will:
  • Be confident, self-motivated, flexible and with exceptional communication skills.
  • Have an interest in both musculoskeletal physiotherapy and the functional rehabilitation environment. Experience in pain is an advantage.
  • Have a passion for working with people and a thirst for clinical excellence
  • Be a service centric team player - you’ll join a sporty, collaborative, passionate MDT
  • Be committed to ongoing professional development. Ideally you’ll have, be working towards, or be keen to complete postgraduate study.
  • Hold NZ Physiotherapy Board registration, and a current Annual Practicing Certificate
What’s in it for you?

A pretty darn cool company culture! Employees speak highly of an organisation that plays to people's strengths, a tight knit team, comprehensive orientation programme, ongoing training, mentoring and continued professional development and support. Being nationwide there are opportunities for career progression. You’ll also receive a competitive salary based on experience, performance based incentives and a professional development allowance.
