Lead the Orthopaedics theatre specialty in a modern private hospital in Newtown. You’ll oversee daily lists, mentor and support a team of RNs, ensure the right instruments and equipment are ready for every procedure, and lift performance, safety and team culture. You’ll also support growth and innovation, including the use of robotics.
What you’ll do
- Lead and roster a team of up to 8 RNs (scrub/circulating focus)
- Drive list readiness, turnaround and patient flow
- Build strong relationships with surgeons, anaesthetists and vendors
- Champion quality, safety and continuous improvement
- NZ Nurse registration + current APC
- 5+ years’ perioperative/theatre experience (orthopaedics)
- Proven ability to lead, coach and develop people
- Calm, solutions focused communicator who thrives in pace
