This is an exciting opportunity for a theatre nurse with 2–3 years’ experience who is looking to further develop their skills within a modern private hospital environment known for clinical excellence, collaboration, and patient-centred care.

- Endoscopy (Colonoscopy & Gastroscopy)
- General Surgery
- Gynaecology
- Ophthalmology
- Orthopaedic Surgery
- Otolaryngology (ENT)
- Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery
- Urology
- 5 operating theatres
- Over 4,000 procedures annually
- 21-bed inpatient suite
- Dedicated day-stay unit
As part of the perioperative team, you will play an important role in delivering safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Delivering excellent perioperative nursing care
- Supporting theatre efficiency and patient flow
- Working collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams
- Maintaining high clinical and infection control standards
- Contributing positively to a supportive and patient-focused team culture
- Participating in continuous learning and professional development opportunities
You are a motivated and team-focused theatre nurse who enjoys working in a fast-paced surgical environment.
You will bring:
- Current Annual Practising Certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand
- 2–3 years’ theatre nursing experience
- Strong clinical capability and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment
- A positive, proactive, and patient-centred approach
