About the job
About a third of this hospital's work is orthopaedics - major spines, sports med, joint replacements. The work is interesting with many high acuity, complex surgeries. In addition there is urology, general surgery and some gynaecology. Laparoscopic surgery is common.
This is a full time position, working core rostered shifts within a fast paced, quality driven and patient focused operating theatre environment. You will report directly to the Theatre Services Manager.
About you
- A Registered Nurse with a current practicing certificate with the Nursing Council of New Zealand.
- Passionate about patient care.
- Ideally you'll have orthopaedic theatre experience.
- Committed to continuous quality improvement and ongoing education through professional development.
