About the role
- This is a newly created role to further enhance the existing team.
- You'll report through the Theatre Coordinator to the Theatre Services Manager, working closely with another Theatre Team Leader.
- This is a hands-on, clinical leadership role where you'll be on the floor, supporting patient flow, relieving staff, and ensuring theatres run smoothly day to day.
- You'll cover a broad range of specialties. Whilst there is a strong orthopaedic focus there is exciting growth across other services.
- This is not a desk-based role - it's about practical leadership, presence, and credibility in theatre.
- You're a senior Theatre Nurse with at least 5 years' operating theatre experience, ready to step into your first leadership role or build on early leadership exposure.
- You bring clinical confidence, a calm, can do attitude, and the ability to lead by example.
- Leadership experience is welcomed but not essential - your credibility, professionalism and teamwork matter most.
- 4 days per week (32 hours), Monday - Friday (no weekends)
- $58.30 - $65.23 per hour + penal rates
