About the Job
Based at their Taradale site, this is a full-time (or 0.8 FTE) Registered Nurse position supporting 22 individuals who live across five different homes. All have complex physical disabilities, often with additional cognitive, communication, or behavioural challenges.

You’ll work closely with support workers (who are medication competent), hospital teams, GPs, specialists, and community providers to ensure integrated care. Think of it like being a paddler in 22 individual waka – each journey is unique.

The role has a strong coordination and leadership focus. You won’t be doing everything yourself – but you will ensure everything gets done well. You’ll:
  • Hold a clinical caseload
  • Develop and implement risk and care plans
  • Direct and delegate effectively
  • Navigate services and advocate with tenacity
  • Attend family and MDT meetings as needed
  • Be part of a supportive, values-driven team
  • Work Monday to Friday + rostered on call approx 1 in 8 weeks.
About You

Benefits

  • On-call allowance and additional pay if called in
