The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Psychologist to join our multidisciplinary team in Grafton. In this leadership-influenced clinical role, you will work with adult clients to drive positive and sustainable change in their lives, families, and wider communities.
You will:
  • Conduct high-quality assessments and deliver interventions from a systemic and socio-ecological perspective
  • Provide therapeutic interventions (individual and group) 
  • Manage your own caseload and associated clinical documentation
  • Build effective working relationships with key external stakeholders
  • Bring hope, expertise, and professionalism to an area of work that genuinely transforms lives
About You To thrive in this position, you will bring:
  • Full registration with the New Zealand Psychology Board
  • Clinical understanding of key frameworks and practices relating to adult sexual harm
  • Experience in assessment and intervention for harmful or concerning sexual behaviours and/or family violence/or forensic clinical settings
  • Excellent clinical report writing, formulation, and intervention planning skills
  • The ability to build strong, client-centred therapeutic relationships
  • A respectful, non-judgmental approach to working with vulnerable clients
  • Experience working effectively with Māori and Pasifika within clinical and cultural frameworks
