We are seeking a passionate and skilled Occupational Therapist
to join a growing, multidisciplinary allied health service supporting people to live meaningful, independent lives.
This is an opportunity to work within a supportive clinical environment alongside GPs, physiotherapists, psychologists and other allied health professionals, delivering high-quality, client-centred occupational therapy across a varied caseload.
The Opportunity:
You will provide holistic occupational therapy services to clients experiencing illness, injury or disability, supporting participation at home, work and in the community. You will manage your own caseload while being backed by a collaborative team and strong clinical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive, client-centred assessments using standardised tools, observation and interviews
- Develop and implement individualised, evidence-based intervention plans
- Collaborate with clients to set and regularly review meaningful, achievable goals
- Provide education and practical strategies to clients and their whānau
- Work closely within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate care and optimise outcomes
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation, reports and progress notes
- Participate in team meetings, case discussions and professional development
About You:
You’re a motivated and compassionate Occupational Therapist who values collaboration, clinical excellence and empowering clients to achieve their goals.
Essential Requirements
- Recognised Occupational Therapy qualification
- Current registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand and a current Annual Practising Certificate
- Full New Zealand driver licence
- Strong assessment and intervention skills, with confident clinical reasoning
- Excellent communication, organisation and relationship-building skills
