Nurse Leader Hospice Inpatient Unit
This charitable organisation delivers compassionate, equitable care across Wellington, Porirua and Kāpiti. The Newtown IPU is supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team of 50+ staff - nurses, allied health, social work and spiritual care.
This is a senior healthcare leadership role focused on:
• Clinical governance & quality oversight
• Leading and developing a team of 30+ staff
• Service management & budgeting
• Strengthening team culture
• Partnering with executive leadership
• Contributing to future IPU relocation & new build planning
The structures are in place. What’s needed now is a confident leader who can build on strong foundations and elevate the service.
You will bring:
✔ Proven healthcare leadership experience
✔ Strong clinical governance capability
✔ Experience leading large, multidisciplinary teams
✔ Confidence in performance management & development
✔ Credibility with senior stakeholders
Nursing qualification preferred but not essential.
Salary: $119,105 – $130,854
