We are seeking a qualified and experienced Hand Therapist to join a well-established and respected private practice based in Hamilton. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about hand therapy and looking to grow their career within a supportive, client-focused team.
This role offers excellent remuneration (starting from $110,000 per annum), flexible hours, and the opportunity to work with a broad range of cases including post-operative, trauma, and ACC clients.
About the Role:
- Provide assessment, treatment, and rehabilitation of upper limb injuries and conditions
- Manage post-operative rehabilitation plans
- Deliver custom splinting and tailored therapy programs
- Work collaboratively with referring specialists, GPs, and the wider healthcare team
- Maintain high clinical standards and contribute to best practice service delivery
- Registration with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand or the Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand
- Postgraduate experience or qualifications in hand therapy (HTNZ registration preferred)
- Proven experience in splinting and managing upper limb rehabilitation
- Strong communication and clinical documentation skills
- A positive, team-oriented mindset and client-first approach
- NZ work rights and a current practising certificate
- Salary starting from $110,000+ depending on experience
