The Opportunity
You will join an established General Medicine service working alongside experienced physicians, registrars, and multidisciplinary teams within a modern tertiary environment.
The role includes:
• Acute and inpatient General Medicine care
• Ward-based responsibilities
• Supporting junior medical staff and trainees
• Participation in service improvement and clinical leadership opportunities
• Exposure to highly diverse patient populations and presentations
There is also flexibility for candidates with subspecialty interests or leadership aspirations.
What We Are Looking For
To be considered, you will ideally:
• Hold or be eligible for vocational registration in General Medicine in New Zealand
• Have previous experience working at Consultant / Specialist level
• Be passionate about patient-centred care and collaborative team environments
• Enjoy working within fast-paced acute medicine settings
