About the Job
You will report to and work closely with the Board of Directors providing strategic and operational leadership across the organisation and ensuring strong commercial performance while preserving the outstanding culture Beetham is renowned for.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading a significant, multi-faceted retirement community.
- Driving village occupancy, sales and long term growth.
- Managing financial performance, budgets, forecasting and KPIs.
- Developing and delivering strategic business plans.
- Building trusted relationships with residents, families, staff and stakeholders.
- Supporting and developing a high performing leadership team.
- Working closely with an engaged and forward thinking Board.
We're seeking an experienced General Manager or senior leader with proven commercial and operational leadership experience. You will currently be leading within retirement living or healthcare but we will also consider other complex service based businesses.
You'll bring:
- Confidence and experience reporting to and working collaboratively with a Board of Directors
- Demonstrated success leading a significant business or operation.
- Strong financial acumen with P&L responsibility.
- Experience improving commercial performance, occupancy or revenue growth.
- Strategic thinking coupled with operational excellence.
- An authentic leadership style that builds trust, engagement and high-performing teams.
- Salary of $140,000 + depending on experience.
- Relocation assistance may be available.
- A comprehensive handover with the outgoing General Manager.
