About the job
 
We are seeking a Community Neuro and Rehabilitation Physiotherapist to join the Wellington based service. This job offers a varied and rewarding caseload, working closely with clients and their whānau to deliver rehabilitation in both community and clinic settings.
 
  • This is a position that values autonomy, flexibility and collaboration. You'll manage your own diary and caseload while being well supported by an experienced interdisciplinary team.
  • Diverse and meaningful caseload including Acquired Brain Injury, Concussion, Orthopaedic & musculoskeletal injuries
  • There is a mix of clinic work, community visits and flexible admin time
  • Your first 3 months will be structured with a buddy system, increased clinic time and training around referral pathways, ACC systems & internal processes. It is a high trust, autonomous role once established
  • Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week within core working hours of 7.30am - 5.30pm

About you
You're a NZ registered Physiotherapist with at least 2 years' postgraduate experience, and you're confident working independently while still valuing a collaborative team environment. You will bring:
 
  • A genuine interest in neuro rehabilitation (experience in brain injury, concussion, vocational rehab, persistent pain or MSK is all relevant)
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate and motivate clients and whānau
  • Strong organisation skills - you're comfortable managing your own diary, caseload and productivity expectations
  • A team-first approach, positive attitude and genuine passion for improving outcomes
  • Confidence using digital clinical systems and working effectively in a hybrid environment
  • This team is seeking someone who wants to commit, build relationships, and grow with the service
