Their culture is grounded in warmth, community, and integrity. In Rotorua they have a large 169-bed care home that is currently undergoing a period of change and opportunity.
Now is the time for an experienced Clinical Services Manager (CSM) to step into a key leadership role and enhance clinical care. With an experienced leadership team behind you, you'll be well supported to lead with impact, presence and purpose.
About the Role
- Lead clinical operations across approximately 80 beds (either Hospital or Rest Home/Dementia level), supported by two Unit Coordinators and a strong core of RNs and HCAs.
- Work closely with the Care Home Manager and another CSM to embed systems, stabilise staffing, and ensure consistent, high quality care delivery.
- A vital part of this role is building trust with Health NZ, NASC, and most importantly, with whānau.
- This is a hands on role: visible leadership, real-time coaching, and clinical oversight are essential.
- Monday to Friday is standard, but Tuesday to Saturday or Sunday to Thursday will also be considered. On-call is shared.

- A Registered Nurse with current APC and solid clinical experience in aged care.
- Someone who leads from the floor (not the office) - visible, proactive, and action-focused.
- A skilled coach and mentor with a passion for growing capability and lifting quality.
- Strong documentation, assessment, and compliance skills. interRAI, Medi-Map and eCase are ideal.
- A leader with resilience, heart and a clear drive to make things better for residents, for staff, and for the wider community.
- If you've led through change or helped turn around services in the past, even better.
