Clinical Sales Specialist – Surgical Imaging 

About the Opportunity

A leading provider of advanced medical imaging and surgical technologies is looking for an experienced Clinical Sales Specialist to take ownership of a high-value North Island territory, based out of Auckland.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a role where you are not just selling a product, but genuinely influencing surgical outcomes. You will be working at the forefront of intraoperative ultrasound, surgical navigation and AI-driven imaging, partnering closely with clinicians in theatre and helping them deliver more precise and effective patient care.

It is a role that naturally blends clinical credibility with commercial drive, suited to someone who enjoys being hands-on in procedures while also building long-term strategic relationships.

The Role
In this position, you will take responsibility for driving adoption and growth of a premium surgical imaging portfolio across both public and private hospitals. Much of your time will be spent engaging directly with surgeons, theatre teams and key decision-makers, supporting cases in theatre, delivering product demonstrations and providing ongoing clinical education.

Alongside the clinical aspect, you will also take ownership of your territory strategy, identifying new opportunities, developing accounts and growing market share. You will be trusted to manage your region autonomously, while contributing to broader business planning, forecasting and growth initiatives.
The role also offers the chance to be involved in workshops, conferences and training events, as well as staying close to emerging technologies and trends shaping the future of surgical imaging.

About You
You will bring a strong foundation in medical device sales, ideally within imaging, ultrasound or surgical technologies, or come from a clinical background where you have developed commercial exposure.
Just as important is your ability to hold credible, technical conversations with surgeons and clinical teams. You are someone who can move comfortably between the clinical and commercial worlds, building trust quickly and adding real value in both environments.
You will be naturally driven, organised and self-sufficient, with a track record of developing opportunities and growing a territory. This is a field-based role with travel across the North Island, so a level of independence and adaptability is important.
