About the Job
- You will be responsible for providing clinical leadership and management and overseeing clinical care across the rest home and hospital.
- You will work closely with the very capable and experienced Care Home Manager.
- Lead the clinical team to a place of excellence using standards, policies and procedures as a guide.
- Manage clinical risk.
- Have a visible presence with staff, residents and families.
- Promote best practice in all clinical roles.
- Facilitate a learning culture, supporting staff to do their best.
- The position is 5 days a week. There is an on call component (1 week in 3)
About you
- A Registered Nurse with current practicing certificate.
- Ideally you'll have experience leading or coordinating teams and driving quality service provision in the aged care sector however given the fantastic support in place, we will also consider an experienced Registered Nurse with natural leadership ability looking to take that next career step.
- Collaborative, responsive and empowering, you will support and develop your team to be the best they can be individually and collectively.
- You have the ability and passion to build capability and confidence in others. You like to walk and be beside your staff often and know that positive relationships make any challenge seem small.
- An excellent communicator, you are open, responsive and positive.
- You are a clinical expert that is willing and self motivated. With fresh eyes and a continuous improvement approach.
- It goes without saying that you are inclusive, empathetic and care about people - residents, their family, colleagues and the team.
