An established and respected aged care provider is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse leader to step into a Nurse Manager position within a well-run residential care facility in the Far North / Bay of Islands region.
This is a fantastic opportunity to step into a senior clinical leadership role, guiding a dedicated nursing team while ensuring exceptional care for residents.

About the Role As Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in providing clinical leadership within the facility, supporting the nursing team while ensuring care delivery meets best practice and regulatory standards.
Working closely with the Facility Manager, you will oversee clinical systems, compliance, and quality improvement while fostering a positive team environment.
Hours: Full time – 40 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday
Location: Far North / Bay of Islands region
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership across the facility
- Support, mentor, and develop Registered Nurses and care staff
- Ensure compliance with Health & Disability Sector Standards
- Maintain clinical governance and audit readiness
- Support internal and external certification audits
- Build strong relationships with residents, families and healthcare providers
- Promote a safe environment through strong health and safety practices
- Registered Nurse with a current NZ APC
- Previous aged care experience
- Leadership or clinical management experience
- Experience working within continuing care or hospital level care
- Strong communication and people leadership skills
- Ability to maintain clinical quality and compliance standards
- A genuine passion for supporting older people and their families
- Monday to Friday leadership position
