This is a hands on education role where you'll work alongside nurses in the community, providing mentoring, coaching and clinical guidance. You'll support nurses new to palliative care, strengthen experienced clinicians' practice, and contribute to study days, competency development and key education projects - including initiatives such as advanced care planning integration.
About the Role
- 1:1 mentoring and clinical coaching in the community
- Supporting orientation and ongoing professional development
- Facilitating and contributing to clinical study days
- Supporting PDRP and competency requirements
- Participating in MDTs and clinical governance activities
- Collaborating with internal teams and external health partners
About You
- Registered Nurse with extensive, recent specialist palliative care experience
- Strong mentoring, coaching and facilitation skills
- Confident working autonomously and within multidisciplinary teams
- Committed to culturally safe, evidence based practice
- Full NZ driver's licence
