About the Facility This established service provides:
- 48 beds across Rest Home and Hospital level care
- A 12-bed secure Dementia unit
- Independent and assisted living residents who receive ongoing clinical assessments and support
- 15 Registered and Enrolled Nurses(9 permanent and 6 casual)
- 40 Caregivers(30 permanent and 10 casual)
The Role As Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for the overall clinical leadership of the service, ensuring residents receive high-quality care while supporting and developing your nursing and caregiving teams.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and mentoring nursing and caregiving staff
- Overseeing clinical care delivery and resident outcomes
- Managing assessments, care planning, audits, and clinical reviews
- Driving quality improvement and risk management initiatives
- Ensuring compliance with Ngā Paerewa and relevant aged care standards
- Supporting staff education, competency assessments, and professional development
- Building positive relationships with residents, families, GPs, and external providers
- An experienced Facility Manager with a strong healthcare background
- A dedicated Clinical & Quality Risk Manager who regularly supports the site
- A Chief Operating Officer who is also a Registered Nurse
- An experienced Clinical Manager at a neighbouring facility
- Ongoing support from the wider head office team
- Current NZ Registered Nurse APC
- At least 3 years' nursing experience in NZ
- Previous experience in aged care, hospital, or dementia care
- Leadership experience or a genuine desire to step into a management role
- Strong clinical knowledge and assessment skills
- Excellent communication and people leadership abilities

- $105,000 - $112,000 salary
- Monday to Friday, 40-hour week
