We are seeking an experienced and compassionate Clinical Manager to lead clinical services within a well-established retirement village in Christchurch. This is a full-time leadership role, ideal for a senior nurse ready to step into or build on their management experience in aged care.
This diverse site offers a continuum of care, including hospital-level and end-of-life care , supported living, and independent living — providing a rewarding and dynamic environment.
About the Role
As Clinical Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality clinical care across the village. You’ll lead and support a dedicated team while ensuring compliance with all clinical and regulatory standards.
- Lead and manage a team of 7 Registered Nurses and 30 care staff
- Oversee 25 care rooms delivering hospital-level through to end-of-life care
- Support care delivery across 31 assisted living apartments
- Contribute to the wellbeing of residents across 66 independent villas
- Ensure excellence in palliative and end-of-life care
- Drive continuous improvement in clinical quality and resident outcomes
- Registered Nurse with a current APC
- Minimum 2 years’ management experience in aged care
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Passionate about delivering high-quality, resident-centred care
- Sound knowledge of NZ aged care standards and compliance
- Experience in palliative care highly regarded
- Competitive salary of $100,000 – $120,000 (depending on experience)
