Are you an experienced allied health professional ready to lead with integrity, expertise, and heart? A large and well reputable Allied Health service are seeking a Clinical Manager to join our Senior Leadership Team in Sydenham, Christchurch, supporting excellence across our vocational rehabilitation services.
This is a pivotal leadership role, working alongside the Regional Manager and Team Leads. While you won’t have direct reports or responsibility for day-to-day staffing matters, you’ll play a vital role in shaping clinical quality, learning and development, and service consistency across the region.

You’ll champion thoughtful clinical reasoning over quick fixes, guiding clinicians to focus on sustainable, long-term outcomes. Continuous improvement, reflective practice, and regional consistency will be central to your impact.
This role goes beyond meeting targets and navigating policy (though you’ll be confident doing both). It’s about lifting the bar, empowering clinicians to perform at their best, and ensuring every recommendation reflects care we’re proud to stand behind.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience in the allied health sector
- Strong expertise in vocational rehabilitation
- In-depth operational knowledge of ACC and vocational rehabilitation frameworks
- A passion for clinical leadership and professional development
- Confidence navigating contractual standards and reporting tools
- Providing clinical leadership, guidance, and second opinions to ensure consistent, high-quality service delivery
- Promoting evidence-based practice and sound clinical decision-making
- Partnering with local leaders to deliver integrated, client-focused care
- Maintaining a clinical caseload aligned with best practice and contractual requirements
- Supporting referral triage and ensuring timely, effective service delivery
- Using data and reporting insights to identify opportunities to enhance client outcomes
- Leading learning and development initiatives, mentoring clinicians, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence
