We’re looking for an experienced Aged Care Nurse Leader to lead clinical standards and inspire nursing teams within a respected aged care facility in Napier.
As their Clinical Care Coordinator you will:
- Provide clinical leadership and oversigh t across 14 hospital and 25 dementia beds
- Work closely with the GM of Care & Villages and the Clinical Quality Manager to lead and support a dedicated care team
- Focus on hands on leadership, empowering staff and ensuring quality resident care
- Help shape culture, standards and practice within a collaborative environment
- Be part of a continuous improvement journey with the rollout of VCare, streamlining processes and enhancing care
You’re a strong Clinical Nurse Leader who enjoys mentoring others and creating a positive, people-focused culture. You balance clinical skill with genuine connection and bring a calm, proactive approach to leadership.
You’ll need:
- Current NZ Nursing Council registration and APC
- Proven experience in aged care leadership (ideally with exposure to Hospital and Dementia level care)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Ability to lead change and foster a collaborative team environment
