The Opportunity
We are proud to present a Charge Nurse (0.8 FTE) opportunity within a well-established, high-performing primary care organisation
This is a pivotal leadership role, ideal for an experienced nurse ready to step into (or further develop within) a senior clinical leadership position, combining people leadership, operational oversight, and hands-on clinical care.

You will:
- Lead day-to-day clinic operations, ensuring safe, efficient patient flow
- Drive high-quality, patient-centred care aligned with best practice
- Play a key role in population health outcomes (immunisation, screening, chronic disease management)
- Champion Māori health equity and Te Tiriti-aligned care delivery
- Mentor, coach, and develop a high-performing nursing team
- Contribute to quality improvement, audits, and service innovation
- Clinical standards and patient experience

- Operational efficiency and service delivery
- Equitable health outcomes across the enrolled population
We are looking to connect with experienced nurses who bring both clinical excellence and leadership capability:
- Registered Nurse with current APC in New Zealand
- Minimum 5+ years clinical experience
- Proven experience in leadership / team coordination (Charge Nurse, Deputy, or Lead Nurse level)
- Confidence in delegation, mentoring, and performance management
- Experience or interest in nurse-led clinics and community-based care
- Strong alignment with equity-focused healthcare delivery
- RN Prescribing in Community Health
- Postgraduate qualification (or working towards)
