In this opportunity we are looking for a Charge Nurse to work within a busy and state of the art PACU department .
Working within New Zealand's largest Private Hospital which supports 12 Operating Theatres which cater to both inpatients and day stay surgical procedures.
This is a role where you can support, lead and navigate a team of dedicated Nurses who are equal parts driven and passionate. Bringing your skills and knowledge of PACU you will operate as a Leader who can demonstrate and deliver a value based impact , shaping the future of Health standards in New Zealand .
In this role you will report directly to the Theatre Manager brining your insights and guidance to draft and deliver operational management and clinical direction for the PACU service.
The department operates 7:30am - 8:30pm (Monday to Friday) with minimal weekend lists taking place throughout the year.
Your Background To succeed and thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- NZ APC
- Post graduate qualifications in Critical Care or Leadership (desirable)
- Extensive PACU background based in New Zealand, Australia or United Kingdom
- A background of Leadership (Charge, Team Lead or Coordinator)
