What we are looking for
We are currently seeking a Multi-Site Charge Nurse who will join a thriving culture and deliver support to the nursing team, leading clinical operations , and contributing to education, coaching, and the use of funding models .
You will act as a Senior Nurse leading teams and providing clinical care and insights, this role will see you working on the floor alongside providing admin support, in order to effectively run and sustain these established practices.
We have two vacancies available offering two options to best suit you.
This nominated clinics are based.
Charge Nurse East/ South - Botany South, Chapel Park, Dannemora and East Tamaki
Charge Nurse South Auckland - Takanini and Manurewa Healthcare
This is also a permanent full time role (40 hrs per week)
Your Background To succeed and thrive in this role, you'll bring:
- 7+ years of Nursing (within Primary Care sector)
- 2+ years within a leadership position (Snr Practice Nurse or Nurse Lead)
- Vaccinators certificate
- Smear taking certificate
- Current registration as a New Zealand Registered Nurse.
- Previous urgent care facility experiences are advantageous.
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage conflicting priorities.
- Awareness of ACC and PHC.
- Familiarity with MedTech 32 or MedTech Evolution (or similar) preferred.
- Commitment to health equity and cultural competency, with an understanding of Tikanga Māori, Kawa Māori, and Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
- Legal rights to work in New Zealand.
