Ryan is our Agency Director for RWR Health South Island, based in Queenstown. Originally from South Africa, he began his career in the medical industry as a pharmaceutical sales representative, spending his days in hospitals, pharmacies, private practices, and medical universities.

After moving to New Zealand in 2017, Ryan discovered a natural affinity for recruitment, driven by his passion for building deep, lasting relationships. He quickly established himself as a top performer and manager in the fast-paced Auckland market, earning a reputation for his people-first approach and sharp instinct for matching talent to opportunity and problem solving.

Now back in the health sector, Ryan brings together his medical background and eight years of recruitment experience to deliver meaningful outcomes for both clients and candidates across the South Island.

When Ryan isn't at work, you’ll find him freediving or up in the mountains trail running, hiking or camping — always chasing the next adventure.
