They have clinics across the country and hold contracts with ACC, third party insurers, DHB’s, The Ministry of Health, private businesses and leading New Zealand organisations.

About the role

You will be working in a clinic where no two days are the same and alongside supportive team members. The role also involves musculoskeletal, orthopaedic, pain and vocational rehabilitation work around the Hamilton region.

You will work alongside other physiotherapists, occupational therapists and orthopaedic surgeons. Post-graduate qualifications are preferred but not essential. This is a great opportunity to work in a challenging and professional environment. This individual will be motivated to deliver a high quality service to our clients.

Skills and experience
  • Requires autonomy, therefore you will need 2 years experience minimum
  • The ideal candidate will have an interest in musculoskeletal and/or sports physiotherapy and pain based rehabilitation
  • Strong work ethic, effective communication, empathetic and a commitment to building relationships with patients
  • People centric, ensuring the best for clients and colleagues
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
  • Appropriate qualification, a NZ Physiotherapy Board registration and a current drivers license
Key Responsibilities
  • Assessment and treatment of mechanical neck and back pain
  • Assessment and treatment of a variety of peripheral musculoskeletal and sports related conditions
  • Pain and Vocational rehabilitation role and gym based functional/vocational rehabilitation
  • In patient and out patient post operative orthopaedic physiotherapy within a private hospital
  • Specialist spine assessment and rehabilitation role
