About the job
As an Anaesthetic Technician (or RN Anaesthetic Assist) you'll be responsible for a high standard of clinical assistance, patient management care including correct identification and safe positioning, equipment preparation and management including prep of machines, patient monitoring equipment, cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation. You'll provide direct assistance with induction of general and local anaesthesia as well as assistance with spinal, epidural, and regional anaesthetic and surgical procedures. On offer is family friendly shifts – morning, afternoon and day lists (no nights, maybe one or 2 Saturdays a year). No on call. You'll join a dynamic, committed, hardworking and supportive team.
Skills and attributes required
You must be qualified as an Anaesthetic Technician, or Registered Nurse Assistant to the Anaesthetist with a current practising certificate. You'll have exceptional communication skills, be committed to improvement initiatives and your own professional development, a team player with a passion for delivery of quality patient care.
